I'm replacing the stock pups in my Schecter with a Jazz/Custom set. I want to be able to coil split both of them, so I'm replacing the tone pot that I never use with a push-pull pot. The push-pull will split the neck pickup, and I want turning the pot to gradually shut off one of the coils on the bridge pickup. This is what I'm working off of:
First off, why does it have green going to the volume pot? Isn't green normally ground?
Second, is it showing a solder point right in the middle of the green wire? What's that all about?
Third, it seems to have the ground from the tone pot ALSO going to the volume pot...
Lastly, do I just set up the neck pickup with black going to the switch, green and bare going to ground, and red and white set up on the push-pull just like it were a mini toggle switch?
I'm sooo confused!
