Twangbanger question.......

I put a Twangbanger in a new Am Ser Strat that came with Fender Tex-Mex pickups. The Twangbanger sounds great, but I am not really happy with the bridge/middle combination.

Does anyone here have any suggestions for better pups for the middle and neck to mate up better with the Twangbanger?

Alnico II Pro Staggered in the neck and middle sound good with the Twangbanger. I beleive something very close to it came in the Music Man Albert Lee model.

i use the alnico 2 pros as well and think they are a killer match for the twangbanger

My strat is in the shop, and when it comes out, will have a twangbanger bridge with A2P mid, didn't do that on purpose because I previously had a custom staggered bridge, but I'm psyched it works out so well.

Thanks guys. Does the Alnico 2 Pro have the same magnet stagger as the Twangbanger?

Is the bridge/middle sound really very close to the sound with vintage style pickups?
