Tweak Fuzz Problem

I have a Tweak Fuzz pedal bought a few months ago on eBay. Sounded nice until last week when it suddenly started sounding really thin and sucky on all tweak positions. Not a battery problem as I run it from a power supply. Anyone had a similar problem ?, worth trying to get it fixed or should I junk it or sell it on as a "non-runner" ?. :smack:

Re: Tweak Fuzz Problem

You should call or Email Seymour Duncan Tech support.

Here's Scott Miller's address.... scott@seymourduncan.com

Since you're in the UK, I'm guessing email is the best bet.

One word of warning, our biggest Music Show of the year are the two NAMM shows. Summer NAMM is this week. I'm guess that Scott and the rest of the folks at Duncan will be in Austin TX. So, it might be sometime next week before you get an answer.

don't junk the TF. Give the guys a chance to get your problem fixed.

Re: Tweak Fuzz Problem

do not pay to have it repaired. If you bought a Duncan product that is defective, we will take care of it for you---period. If you bought it on ebay.UK from a local UK dealer, then you can go through our UK distributor for an exchange their contact info is:

Aria U.K.
Unit 12 Heston Ind. Mall
Church Rd, Heston
Middlesex, TW5 0LD
PH# 44 208 572 0033
FAX# 44 208 570 5321
Email: sales@ariauk.com

If you purchased the pedal on the US ebay site through a US dealer, then you will need to contact that dealer for an exchange. If the dealer gives you any trouble, contact me at scott@seymourduncan.com

Re: Tweak Fuzz Problem

Thanks for that Scott .
I'll get in touch with AriaUK to see if they can help. If they can't I'll get back to you. I would be happy to send my Tweak back to the US if it would be repaired FOC. Good to see a company that stands by it's products and customers even past the warranty period, wow.
Had some nice tones from it before it wigged out. It was the video of Blues Saraceno wailing on it that sold it to me !.

Re: Tweak Fuzz Problem

James Deacon at Aria UK very politely says he can only help if I have a receipt and warranty information. I have neither and suspect the pedal is out of warranty anyway. Can I send it back to it's creator in the US ?.
