Twin Tube Blue/Classic Pedal has hot footswitch

Hi, does anyone have a Twin Tube Blue or perhaps Classic? I have recently purchased a Blue so the layout is like the Classic which is why I ask about either.

On mine the on/off footswitch (left switch) gets really hot to touch. Not burning your finger hot but damned hot to the touch none the less.

Am I right to assume this is normal because of where they must have put the tubes?

I have the classic and the switch stays cool. Maybe the internal layout is slightly different and the switch is above a heat source.

Oh so your Classic stays cool. So they must be different inside or else I should maybe contact SD to ask. Maybe something is wrong with mine.

I also have the Classic and have not noticed any heat in the switches. The Blue must have a different layout or yours is defective.
