TwinTube Classic repair...

i have a Twin Tube Classic i bought a few years ago....pretty sure it needs repair....a lot of 'white noise'...
do i need to send it to SD for repair or should i find a local repair place?
obviously it's out of warranty...i just don't know if it requires SD technician or is ok with anyone who does this kind of repair work...

probably...but if repair costs $100...$40 for round trip shipping....wouldn't cost much more for a new one....

lol...i agree, but it frequently works out better...
add in that i could probably sell it for $50 to someone who would repair it....

hi badjaxx! ... good to see you - i still play that tokai tele clone you sld me all those years ago

my twin tube classic is getting a little noisey/squeally on the lead channel - rhythm channel is still fine ... i'll be interested to see what the right answer is in this thread for when i finally need to have it fixed

I'd still contact SD customer service. You might be surprised by the response.
