Two Fuzzes, Not quite compared

I don't call this a full comparason because my parents are sleeping and I had to record these at a very low level and boost them a bit in software. I will post more clips later when I can record in higher quality and mess with the settings more.

zVex Fuzz Factory - Thanks Eli for letting me borrow it.

Demeter Fuzzulator - Thanks myself for letting me borrow it.

I already knew that the fuzz factory was going to do more sounds, it does, it does like 300230490211 different sounds, but only some are fun to use, and only a fraction of those are fun to listen to. I'm still learning to use the knobs which seem to make sense, but don't do quite what you expect them to do. These fuzz sounds are the fuzzes of the future.

The Demeter pedal is more of your classic fuzz, with some normal overdrive sounds and some great sustaining driving sounds, as well as your classic Jimi and Clapton, and stuff. 60-70-80's fuzz are in the bag for this pedal. Good for the faint of heart and old eared people.

The Demeter wins in my book, I tried both these pedals when I was going to buy a fuzz and chose it right away. Schecterplayer took the FF and they sound pretty good together. They are so different that it would be worth owning both, The price tags are pretty high, together they are about the same price my amp and my custom strat together.

I would recommend both these pedals

Mind you my amp cost 150 and my strat was about 300.

Re: Two Fuzzes, Not quite compared

you chose some pretty fizzy sounding FF settings, ill have to figure out some other cool ones when i get the pedal back and maybe we can record a few different sounds.
