Wow! What a project! This might be difficult to get from one sound to another very quickly though.

I thought about that too, but on the upside it has the potential to create some pretty cool and unique sounds as well. At least with the 3-ways it'll be relatively easy to tell what's on or off by just looking at them.

Yeah, I'm trying to think it out a little. I may actually route out a little under the pickguard and use larger switches. At the very least they'd be easier to hit faster. The mini toggles can be stiff and you need to be precise when switching them. And I want to get them close enough to use them well... but not so close I accidentally hit them. I know I want them in a straight line so I don't have to jump one to reach another. This is the guitar it's all going in... Fender Mahogany Strat Deluxe with Bloodwood neck.

I'm probably also going to add a Piezo bridge (Probably Fishman).

I might be joining the topic quite late but with what I call "Super Seven Switching" you can get a LOT of coil choices; series parallel; in phase out of phase.

Hmmm... cool concept. Essentially it's like having a Triple Shot ring on each pickup (2 switches to make either coil alone, or both coils parallel or series) and THEN it adds the same functionality to the way the two pickups work with one another. Ingenious, but it also looks like it'd be a little confusing to operate... especially on the fly.

You'd be surprised that the switching is pretty easy to get used to.
Usually, people object to the idea of drilling a lot of extra holes in a guitar.
Well, if you go to this page http://www.1728.org/super7.htm you'll see I have done this wiring to 9 of my guitars.
(One of those guitars is a Gibson SG Standard)
If nothing else, I posted that picture to show I am not afraid of modifying my own guitars.

Are you sure you want so many switches? It can get very confusing what position each switch needs to be in to get which sound, especially if they are all three position on/on/on. That's at least 12 different switch positions and over a hundred different combinations! A MUCH simpler way would be to use Triple shot rings on each pup with a separate switch for series/parallel.
