Two issue I need help with please!

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting so hopefully I don't mess up. So I got two issue I need some advice on, and since money is tight I really cant afford to randomly experiment.

1. I got a new Mex Tele that Im going to mod, I got a SD Quarter Pounder Strat Middle pickup just laying around (it was part of an old HSH). What would it sound like if I use it as a Tele neck w/a SD broadcaster? P.S. I rarely use Tele neck position. Always bridge or middle

2. I had to sell all my high watt amps and Im now only using 15 to 22 and one 40 HRD (which Im going to sell). I got two pedals boards one for Ambient rock, regular clean, Pysc, to hard rock, to fuzz. the other for straight metal and darker. This is were my problem lies.
I need a 22 or 15 watt amp that can handle (sound good) with a Wampler Dacrays and an Amptweaker TightMetal jr.(I'm not getting rid of these pedals so its not an option). I have tired so many amps, so far I was able to get good results from a Bassbreaker combo and surprising from my Vox Ac15. Another one that was decent was a Deluxe Reverb 22watt. But money is tight and I can only afford under $800. I tried the Blackstar HT and it was awesome but not with these pedals, so that went back. the Orange 15watt a failure. DSL-nope, 5150 15watt nope. Blues JR nope.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance

If you've already got a Vox AC15 (great amp, btw) and it works with your pedals, where is the problem?

the qp in the neck will be pretty thick and meaty, probably fairly dark when compared with the bridge but the middle setting might sound really good.

as far as the amp... why spend money if the ac15 sounds good already?

Thanks for the advice on the neck pickup (I hate spending money on something and not use it) As for Amps, I miss my Rockerverb, Mesa and other high watt amps. I was able to get really dark metal tones with them and those pedals. I own three AC15 each with diff speakers (Blue, Green, and a Cream) but while Im getting something usable; it falls apart when I try to get darker. So I have been looking for something that I can only use for metal and my metal board. While i found the Blackstar HT and the 5150 15watt great they are already gain heavy and when I add those pedals it just all goes apart. I don't want to get rid of those pedals because they were a gift from a loved one that recently passed and I cant part with them and I hate not using gear and leaving stuff unused laying around.

If you are looking for a hi-gain amp, check out the Orange Dark Terror, which is miles away from your Vox. As far as the Quarter Pound goes, I can see it working in the neck- I would probably like it better than a regular Tele neck pickup. You already have the pickup, so you can look for a cheap pickguard.

Thank you everyone for your time and advice, A friend told me I can save a lot of money by just upgrading my HRD, fix the volume pot, try a Jensen Tornado speaker and I should be good for under 400 bucks or so. Might looking into it. Also I did install the QP middle pickup as a neck, (I got it done for free Yippee) It is very unique, not sure how to handle the middle position. It's dark with a hint of indescribable. Take care
