The wire always comes out of the same side of a humbucker, irrespective of whether it is a bridge or neck model. The only difference between the neck and bridge versions is that the bridge ones are wound slightly hotter, so that when you have a pair of the same model installed they balance well. There's no reason why you can't put a bridge model in the neck (or vice versa) - it just depends on whether its output balances with whatever you have in the other position.StratLover said:But, the lead wire is coming out of the wrong side of the pickup for it to be a neck pup, spacing is good. Are there any electrical/magnetic differences between a 59 neck and bridge? If not, I'm just going to wrap the lead wire around, put it in the neck and go on like I knew what I was doing (have a new PG for the bridge).
