You should get them out of that snow and give them a home.

hahaha, 3100 is a lot of money. especially for someone who's not really a les paul type of guy. if they were a flying-V and an explorer. well then.
i was just wondering if these were 2 deals that would be too shocking to pass up.

They're not. Those prices are decent, maybe even a bit low but nothing spectacular.

The goldtop with double white seths would be a good option

Re: Two Les Pauls Sitting in a store window (price check please)

+1 for the goldtop. Looks like a decent price if everything (fretwork for example) is in order.

Re: Two Les Pauls Sitting in a store window (price check please)

Through the glass with the reflection I would be hesitant to give advice on a price. The prices are decent but you need a better look at the instrument. Its possible there are some ugly issues that cant be seen in the pic... Its possible both have been decapitated and are hiding ugly elmers glue repairs on the back of the necks... My advice is if your interested the prices are good enough to take a closer look

Check the vendor's paperwork for proof of ownership, receipts for Seths et cetera.

Double-cream Lovers? Would Larry D. allow such a thing?

Yes... the pickups are manufactured the same way they were in the late 50's meaning... they are randomly assembled from both black and cream colored bobbins and sold only under a cover. So if by the luck of the draw you get double creams and the user wish's to remove the covers then there is no issue to do so.

When I sold mine, they guy I sold 'em to re-sold them for right around $1500.00 a piece, so they're at least slightly used. They probably belonged to the owner of the store. Try before you buy!

There was a time you could order double cream buckers from SD as long as they shipped with a cover. That's how I got my double cream '59 neck.

Re: Two Les Pauls Sitting in a store window (price check please)

Good deals, not steals though. The cream seths are a nice bonus on the TradPro. If its what you're looking for its a good buy. If you're just looking to flip it, probably not worth the hassle.
