Music Mans and Wolfgangs - I'm a shredstick guy, but to me the Musicmans all look like a$$...I've tried to convince myself to like the Petrucci Model but I just cant.

And any of the wolfgang shapes remind me of a banjo that melted in the sun...

I'm not crazy about a lot of classic shapes (Tele's, anything by Gretch/Rickenbacker, Ibby's Art series, most hollow bodies with f holes etc) but they're so far removed from my idea of what's aethetically pleasing that I'm skipping over them..

I don't care for BC Rich Mockingbirds (neither here nor there kinda design...)

Schecters in general..

Banana headstocks on Kramers...

Any V's with rounded (non-pointy) ends....

Jacksons, Kramers, Ibanez RGs, and...you probably get the point. Those types of guitars. Fricking hideous to me. They make me cringe every time I see them.

These. WORST way to do sunburst on a strat, IMO.
I'm all for sunburst/tobaccoburst/[color]burst, but not with a black PG. White, Mint, or nothing.

I think I've gotta go with this. Cosmetically speaking, all of the name brands have put out their fair share of dogs, but we (all of us) are members of an elite fraternity: Those people who can actually PLAY guitars. We're in the top one percent folks, and regardless of your opinion of any one brand/type/shape, they all serve a purpose, and every one of them appeals to someone.

Ugly is ugly (subjective, I know..) ...I'm not saying I would'nt play an ugly guitar...I just (probably) would'nt buy one...

Some of them do hold a strange fascination for me though.... :laugh:

I think Fender makes the ugliest guitars known to man... whats more boring than the strat, Seriously can you put any more black plastic on the front of your guitar????

or could anything be more plain and buttugly than the tele..... I think not my friends...

All solid body guitars are ugly if you compare it to a nice arch top. It's like comparing a Bentley to a Civic IMO, solid bodies are all souped up civics that will never resonate or have the depth a hollow has. Convenient, durable, versatile, ugly=yes to all.
