That was actually my first thought. I actually just bought speakers off a dude in my city that has a Loucks (and a Matamp). We're already friends and I can't wait to try it.

I did the LA to Portland drive last week. The closest I got to doom and sludge was the methane north of Bakersfield! :chairfall

Great Cthulu, that is a lot of speakers! Seems utterly impractical but lots of fun.
If you do go with a pair of Swamp Thangs, I would place them at the top or X pattern in the top four slot. Just my two cents based off of having STs for several years.
With its late breakup you would have to be playing VERY loud indeed... ST is great for adding definition to another speaker that breaks up earlier and has a smaller dust cap/brighter tone.

The beauty of Swamp Thangs is a big fat clear representation of what your amp really sounds like.
I'd put two of those on top, two V30's in the middle, and two cheaply found G75Ts on the bottom.
With those three, you'll have a monsterous sounding 612.
If budget is an issue, use as many G75T's as you can buy cheap. That speaker is the stock Marshall 412 speaker, is cheaper than others, and it sounds great with Orange amps.
