Understanding diagram for HH, 1 vol, 1 tone, split coil

Hello everyone. Can someone help me understand what pickup gets activated in different selector positions in the url provided?

It is a HH, 1 vol, 1 tone, split coil.

I would like to know what the outcome is. For instance: B, single B, neck/bridge, single neck, neck.

2. Bridge + Neck
3. Neck
4. Neck + Bridge Split
5. Neck split + Bridge split

Weird on paper. Try it, you might find it very useful. Though for me I would prefer bridge + neck split in position 4.

It's due to the physical construction of the switch. The first two terminals of a 5-way mimic all three terminals of a 3-way. (Actually, all six.) Then they use the third terminal for the additional two split modes. A Superswitch allows for any sequence you want.
