Re: Unexpected pedal crush....Boss BD.2
I modified mine to have a tiny bit more mids and bass.
It's still a far cry from a Tubescreamer mid-hump, if anything now it sounds "neutral" rather than mid scooped or boosted.
I've tried tons of overdrive/boost/dirt pedals after this one:
TS9, TS808, TSDX9, mini TS9, Boss SD1, Jet City Afterburner, Mad Professor Sweet Honey Deluxe, Joyo Us Dream, Joyo Sweet Baby, Boss DS1, EHX Soul Food, EHX LPB1, Marshall Jackhammer, Marshall Guvnor II...
All very good pedals, some better than the Blues Driver in some aspects. But none of them is a replacement for it.
If I could find a Joyo Sweet Baby/Mad Professor Sweet Honey with a bigger volume boost and extra high-mid/high end crunchy frequencies like the BD2 does, I'd be so sold.
I'd love to get a Waza Blues Driver but the prices are insane.
