Unidentified flying Ibanez

I bought this Ibanez in December of 2013. I'm still not sure whether it's a particular model or a collection of parts. The headstock indicates Ibanez and made in China. The saddles indicate Ibanez. The neck plate is blank. It's not a GiO. Can anyone identify the model or does it appear to be more of a Frankenstein version?

The Chinese-made RGA series often has that Floyd-proportioned, non-locking bridge. Flamed veneer top. Powersound pickups, Jin-Ho 'heads. Single coils direct mounted, humbuckers in ring surrounds.

Hm, got a more detailed shot of the serial number?

I don't know of any square heel MIC/MIK Ibz post 1993...

Tremolo looks like one of those FAT 6 screw variants.

Looks like a GRG170, maybe they got the GIO logo off somehow. I thought it was an RG170 but those were Korean.

It does look a lot like the Korean models, right down to the flat "Fender-ish" headstock and that blocky heel. That is probably not a Franken-RG - very plausible that it is dead stock. It seems like Ibanez China is making a lot of re-issues of stuff from other factories and eras.

The Gios have that skewed screw neckplate and this has the standard 2.5" x 2".

The body really seems like an RG170 (down to the square heel and neckplate) but I thought all of those were solid colors, and made in Korea. Maybe it's an Asia-only model that somehow made it over here?
