Unknown CD

I was given a free CD some time in the past (4-5 years ago?) from someone on here who recorded a solo album. It's a guitar solo CD, and he's really good. I could swear he offered his free CD here on the forum for us all.... I'm trying to locate the person so I can tag the files I ripped of it and I was wondering if anyone could help me. The album title had something to do with an epic race around the sun or something. I have lost the CD jacket but have the CD. The CD is grey and has 71 20 on it (71 on the left side of the cd hole, 20 on the right side of it). Can anyone help me locate this person and album info so I can tag my files? Thanks....

Re: Unknown CD

That reminds me, I really need to find a CD burner that writes CD text.

Good luck with the search.

Does the CD have a printed label or is that like the factory logoing (Memorex, etc)?

Re: Unknown CD

No this is a pressed CD. No "Memorex" or anything. It's all guitar solo work, no lyrics, and it's very good, I just can't remember who it is, and CDDB isn't finding it.

Re: Unknown CD

it's called "my dash between the numbers" - I've got it too, and also started a thread several months ago to see if anyone remembered his screen name since I wanted to thank him again.

His real name is Mike Grande. I have one opened one, and one still in the shrink wrap. Not sure why he sent me more than one, but I didn't want to throw the second one away.

track list:

I. Crossing Neverland
II. Two Miles to Ana Lese
III. Walk in November
IV. Watchin' the Cloud Factory
V. Skeleton Jack
VI. If I Can Learn to Fly
VII. Stovie
VIII. Butterflies

Re: Unknown CD

Ah, I was thinking the 71/20 was perhaps the disc's capacity - 71 minutes of music or 20-something of data (which would be odd as it can only be megs or gigs).
