i like the locking tonepros ones that come on the ec-1000 series. however, if I had an ec401 with a generic bridge, i doubt i'd go out of my way to change it.

I have a set of screw in anchors in black
They are all a bit loose in the thread
The anchors should be tight
The threaded studs, not so much
It would seem the strings downward tension should be enough to hold it in place
