Upgrading import strat with fender parts

i got an Encore strat copy and im planning to put a black SSS pickguard and change the plastic parts with fender black accessory pack

heres the questions:

1)can fender pickguards fit Alpha brand pots?
2)will the black pickup covers fit import single coils?

Everything should fit fine. Strat's are universal enough that almost all parts are compatible. The only issue I have seen is that the location of screw holes on backplates and pickguards are sometimes different.

what about import single coils?
do single coils have different spacing?

The covers should be fine. The only time I have seen stock covers not fit is with aftermarket hum canceling pickups. The spacing on Fender clones is very consistent.

alpha pots are smaller then cts (fender) pots so the pots wont be snug in the pickguard and the knobs wont fit. also i doubt the pickguard will even fit properly (unless its a mexican fender pickguard, then maybe) and i doubt the mounting holes will line up. i wouldn't imagine the pickup covers fitting either TBH

the replacement pickup covers I got for my project didnt fit
the bullet strat has singles with standard spacing and the covers were F-spaced

just check the spacing before you buy

some give the dimensions like greasy groove

EDIT
these are the dimensions of the black one in my post above
the original bullet strat had a 49mm or traditional spacing

Personally I'd replace the pickups and pots - gives you more 'go' rather than just 'show' (assuming things sound lacking in the first place)
