"Metal" is a little vague. Each of those brands has a very distinct sound. When I hear Mesa, I think Metallica. When I hear Marshall, I think of everything from Priest to AC/DC to GNR. When I hear Orange, I think Slipknot and Stoner Rock. I know these are broad generalizations but not much to go off of here.

80's thrash? I'd look at some variation on a hot rodded Marshall.....

if you can find a Kerry King sig Marshall I highly recommend that head for thrash...lots of good options....
