Upside down strats

Was skimming through the Warmoth showcase and found this as well as some nice sparkle strats. Seems like I have a subconcious slant to finding the odd ones.

Well if I did get it I'd at least put the strap button in the proper place.

She's got some skills but first impressions of seeing the guitar like that (look at the strap) had me prejudging at first.

dunno who taht is but the strings on her guitar are also upside down if she played it that way... either she got some mad skills... or she plays it right handed and just put it upside down for the pic.. or she dont know how to play guitar :P

That's Malina Moye. While I was searching to see if there were any benefits aside from looking Jimi when playing an upside down strat I came across her being featured on some Fender newsletter type thing.

I thought it was weird that the guitar was flipped without even bothering to change the strap buttons since it looks like it'd get in the way of what limited upper register access there was. But then again this looking at a picture of a girl who forgot her shirt but managed to put on a jacket, scarf and a pink hat.

But after seeing footage of Doyle Bramhall II doing the same I will guess maybe it's something that lefty's do from time to time. Danhans your picture/link doesn't work.
