USA KRAMER STAGEMASTER NECK THRU USA

This baby is a road warrior. I believe its a 1983....not 100% sure.

The Stagemaster and the Nightswan were the top of the line guitars in the Kramer superstrat line, back in the day....(which was on a Wednesday)

When I got this guitar, the end of the headstock was broke off, right at the A tuner. I fixed that. The electronics were not functioning. I put an F-spaced Duncan JB in the bridge and left the stock single coils. I bypassed the 3 way mini toggle...it is a master volume/master tone with a 5 way blade. The guitar is structurally sound and holds tune extremely well.

The body is a neck thru design, carved top. The fretboard is ebony, with deluxe inlays and bound. The bridge is an original German made Floyd Rose. The neck is a medium thin C. Frets show moderate wear...not terrible. The back of the neck has been steel wooled to take the gloss off at some point.

This Kramer is a player. Scratches, dents, chips....the original case is a bit rough, but all latches work.

It sets up well, intonates perfectly and plays great.

Its quite light and well balanced.

$500 plus shipping and fees

Thanks for looking!

Re: USA KRAMER STAGEMASTER NECK THRU USA

Beautiful guitar. Though it is sold, it's closer to '87-'89. Pointy head stocks, not to mention neck-thrus, didn't exist for Kramer in '83.

Good catch...I have an ‘86 Focus with the tranny neck. I should have spotted that too.

Re: USA KRAMER STAGEMASTER NECK THRU USA

I thought it very odd for an '83 to have a recessed trem. I thought those came out much later, like 1989.

Re: USA KRAMER STAGEMASTER NECK THRU USA

Worked for a Kramer dealer in 87-89 that was a second gen Stagemaster built only in late 87- 88 probably only about 200 of those built maybe less. Super rare killer there guys!!!

Next thing you'll be telling me these were built by ESP.

Re: USA KRAMER STAGEMASTER NECK THRU USA

I hope you do it justice (assuming a restoration will be done).

Didn't get it. I just knew what it was but it sold almost as soon as it posted.
Want one of those but a reall clean one is big $$ now so--. Hard to justify one of those when I can build a new Keisel to my spec for about the same $.

Actually they were.

This is atleast an 87-88 like mentioned above and also because the claw inlays didnt appear until then. Lovely guitar and still has some life left in it.
