Hey masta'c. I've been thinking about the 2i2 for awhile. I hope I don't sound like I'm beating you up on the price, but that unit, with full warranty and return policy, (and Ableton Live Lite 8 software), is only $149 at Sweetwater.

Does yours include the software? If so, would you consider an even $100? If you say yes, I'll pull the trigger right now. :)

Sound? As far as audio quality, they are all very good and ideal for digital playback/recording.

For guitarists, the function of each is relatively the same. The Line 6 Pod Studio GX is a very straightforward guitar interface that comes with Pod Farm, which is a well-regarded modeling software. The Focusrite iTrack Solo has a few more features and comes with additional connectivity options for the iPhone/iPad, but doesn't include any bundled software. The M-Audio M-Track is fairly full-featured as far as intermediate audio interfaces go with a variety of inputs and controls. Definitely nice if you plan to do more than just record or playback guitar through your computer.

No one needs an audio interface? These are what you need to make the most of Amplitube, Guitar Rig, practicing along to music on your PC, home recording and more! Plus, the M-Track and iTrack Solo will handle vocals, bass, etc.

masta' c is good people to deal with and the 2i2 I got from him sounds great. Makes a nice little guitar headphone amp for late night jams too. Killer price.

Bought a 2i4 off of this guy and he's a good guy to deal with. The 2i4 works great. When I bought it I thought it was used but ended up being in the original packaging
