No........... Wah distortion and Overdrives work best when you go straight in.

All modulating effects are best in the effects loop, such as flangers, phasers,Chorus and delays.

Try it out because it makes for a different sound. Certain frequencies of the wah seem to more pronounced when I put it through the effects loop of my Traynor YCV50Blue.

Yeah, I use envelope filters and wahs infrequently, so i wanted to use my rack versions. Sadly, they sound like crap thru the loops so I have to go thru all the BS of setting up pedals to go straight in. Damn it!
