Maybe it is just you they don't like selling to? I have no problem finding them or buying from them.
Likely there will be a lot of stuff going up for sale (on Reverb and locally) in the next year or two.
That's what people said 2-3 years ago when the lockdowns started. All the people thinking they want to learn guitar will give up and there will be GUITARS FOR ALL, everybody said.
WELL, WHERE ARE THEY?!
But there were a lot of them, and my guess is those unused instruments will go on sale about a year from now.
Ive been saying for 4 years that Reverb has matured into a completely informed market of mostly dealers and collectors who inflate the used market and sustain the market price on new, so getting "deals" on Reverb is rare now, that doesnt mean you can't buy for a fair price still, but you won't find steals of the past like on other marketplaces.
I've noticed that you can sometimes still get a good deal on basses on reverb, probably because everyone is mostly interested in guitars on there and they sit around but I've gotten 2 basses of there this year one for 10% off and the other for 15% off good basses a Gibson and a fender. I just put something on my watch list from everyone selling what I'm looking at and after a couple days sometimes you will get an offer depends on how long they have had it in stock. You can also look at how long ago it was listed for leads on ones to watch. It doesn't always work but has worked quite nicely twice for me this year. I've received offers on guitars too but not near as often as on basses it seems like.
Yeah that's frustrating, so are people thinking that they have an $800 Affinity
