Used Gibson LP Standard Pick Ups..

Local store has a set of Gibson T490's i think they are from a new LP Standard that someone wanted other PU's in.... How good are these pickups... ? I can get them for $85 Canadian each.... They are chrome covered..

I'm not sure how much Canadian is in US, but I'd skip over them and go in a different direction. I thought that series pretty much stunk up the joint. The Burstbuckers 1 and 2 aren't bad at all.

490's are kind of mediocre. I'd get something else myself.

I do believe the studios and customs still do the 490's.
