Using PA Enclosure as guitar cab ?

Re: Using PA Enclosure as guitar cab ?

If you must use that I'd suggest bypassing the crossover and the horn and going straight into the woofer. There's a reason guitar cabinets don't have a high frequency driver.

Back in the 60s all the big groups were adding high frequency horns to their guitar cabs (Quicksilver Messenger Service, Grateful Dead, etc.).

So? Apparently it wasnt what they needed since none of them continued with the idea.

+1

Pa speakers sound like ass, but one mans trash is another man's treasure!

Just tested it out ... didn't sound bad at all ! actually quite dark sounding going into the bi amp LO jack..

Its got a very deep low end heavy sound which I expected. I'm sure I'm going to use it for both guitar and bass... Sounded surprisingly good with fuzz.
