$20 ****ty subwoofer box from craigslist
$40 strategically placed low-gain preamp tubes from ebay

No pedals were used in either demo.
The EQ and gain settings between the 2 demos are almost identical.

Classic tone with a pearly gates plus (gain boost OFF)


Metal tone with a seymourizer (DDn) (gain boost ON)



Say what you want about either of these... This is PRECISELY how i wanted to sound!!

If you can't tell, i listen to a lot of AC/DC and lamb of god.

sounds good. Im sure it would sound better if you close mic'ed the speakers so we cant hear the acoustic rattle of you strings, but i can definitely get the idea.
