been messing around with amp processing these past 2 weeks.
here are some of the clips. the mesa clip is the most recent, two days ago.
all done with the valvestate vs100, anything my mind can imagine creating this amp can eventually get there. has never let me down in a recording situation. all the clips have the same exact settings, its all controlled by computer if it becomes a lead or rhythm.
all OD2 gain dead even @ 5
any more its gets a little op ampy, any less it doesnt have the drive & focus in the mids to be clear. being thats its only 1 preamp tube and the rest is SS i cannot complain. barely any amp maintenance besides dusting it off.

1. Mesa like power chords - tried to get a big massive wall of overdrive like a rectifier
2. Slayer mode - reminds me of all out war like older Slayer stuff
3. Deathish lead tone - totally reminds me of Chucks famous Death lead riffs
4. 80s Phaser riff - Kinda makes me think of Van Halen or something idk..love playing it!

Schecter Blackhawk with JB8
Boss SD-1 (with 4558D op amp)
Marshall Valvestate Vs100

I dont like phaser for anything ever even if 2 seconds on a song, but that is just me!

the others were great, nice to have variation. 2nd is my fav too :)

i dont disagree, phaser for guitar...kinda spacey and inaudible, in most cases hard to even ear the actual notes of whats going on.

thanks about the rest! yesss : )

Dude, did you teach yourself the art of mastering and recording, or did you take a class? Either way, you are freaking amazing at it. Loved every tone.

taught myself everything over the span of about 16 years..all started in 1996 recording industrial music, electronic music is what taught me to record and sit the mixes.
my roots as a musician started in metal, only a matter of time it came back into my music. :)
