Are you wanting to slave your Vox amp or are you wanting to use your Vox amp as a preamp to drive another amp? Sounds like noise and harsh tones await....The headphone out isn't a line out nor a speaker out and it's going to have a very hot output...

Well, i'm thinking of getting the AD15VT for home usage as my tube amp is too loud for that, and my main concerns are the wattage control, which the ad15 doesn't have (and no one answered my question about the master volume as an alternative yet), and the 8" speaker, so I want to use my 1x12 combo's speaker somehow.

Is it possible, by cranking the master volume on the valvetronix series and lowering the channel volume to push the tube thus getting the same result as the variable wattage? And if so, what's the point of it anyway?

When I did that on my AD60VTX that I just got a few days ago, it seemed to lose tone and sounded thinner. It sounded better (or course this could just be my preference) with the volume knob cranked and the master turned down to about 1 or 2 o'clock. I use that amp so far with the 15 watt setting and it is still plenty loud. The one watt setting is great to practice with but I wouldn't be doing any recording with that tone.
