Van Halen's oil finish?

Can anyone tell me what the specially formulated oil finish is on halen's unfinished maple necks? Is it really just tung oil?

well, i know the music man guitars, the axis which was the EVH guitar at one point is finished with TRU OIL. i have a strat with a neck finished in tru oil and a tele also and they are two of my favorite necks of all of my (too many) guitars!
