I was very impressed with the results. I didn't have any eq problems with 1 meg volume and no load tone. It was what I was looking for, more bass/ouput and 1 notch more rockin, 1 notch less blues.

One of my main guitars is a strat with a trio of ant2 jag bridge pups with a switch to put the middle and bridge in series. I love having the option, especially for slide, but it's got 250k pots so the singles sound right

That's awesome. I agree that Jaguar pickups are a tasty alternative to strat pickups. I think 500k volume and 250k tone sounds really good with single coils.

i wanted flat pole alnico 5 antiquitys for my strat and the jag pups fit the bill. also wanted all the same wind and polarity like old school strats. im very happy with 250k controls, a 500k volume would be too bright for me.
