I never realized they used a Tele in this song. It doesn't even sound like a Tele. Camera work is horrible.

Considering that the whole song is pre-recorded and the vid made later, that probably isn't the guitar used in the recording.

No way to tell for sure. It was recorded in the Netherlands, and I couldn't find any session info for the track.

It stands to reason, since it has a bit of Tele twang in the solo, that it may have either been a T or one of its' many clones.

To my ear, it sounds like the rhythm is done more on an acoustic, maybe with a pickup in it, and a Tele used for the lead parts...

Agreed. Either an acoustic with pickup, or a semi-hollow (335 or 350) with perhaps a little of the strum leaking into the mics.

I've heard this song since before it hit the street. An industry guy slid one to my dad; NY back in the day, you could get promo copies like bubblegum.
