+1 for the simple brass saddles with the screw thread drilled at an angle to allow for compensation.
The extra mass and materials of the Wilkinson swivel design may have some effect on tone.
Since, on almost all guitars, the string spacing at the bridge is wider than at the nut, the individual strings must be passing over their respective saddles at an angle other than ninety degrees.
