Fender 2006 Standard Stratocaster w/ Seymour Duncan PUPs
Customized - Cool Rails, Vintage Rails, Lil59 - Extremely Versatile

2006 Fender Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar in a beautiful 3 Tone Sunburst finish.

CONDITION:
BARELY PLAYED. THE GUITAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. LOOKS AS GOOD AS NEW!

Bought this guitar new 5 months ago and has very little playing time. I've
played this guitar only a handful of times. Body and Finish in excellent shape.
There is no wear on the frets. The maple fingerboard is also in perfect
condition, smooth and fast.

This guitar has been kept in my smoke-free bedroom since I bought it.
I did not want to mess with my existing guitars, but I wanted an
extremely versatile guitar, all-in-one so to speak,
so instead I bought this one and had the pickups and wiring
professionally replaced to Seymour Duncan's
recommended specs. (I really dig Seymour Duncan pickups - they're the
best.) I don't really want to sell it but my collection has grown so large
that I just don't play it that often.

FEATURES:
Except for the custom pickups and wiring, pretty standard 2006 Standard Strat specs.

Alder body
21-fret maple neck
maple fretboard
Vintage tremolo
Die-cast tuning keys
Thicker bridge block for increased sustain and more stable point of
contact with strings

Has vintage Fender stamped saddles
Has Fender stamped tuners
60TH ANNIVERSARY MEDALLION on Headstock

CUSTOMIZATIONS:
I wanted a noise free, hum free, versatile guitar that could give me lots of tones, including authentic Fender
single-coil tones and Les Paul Humbucking tones. I didn't want to change the classic look of the
guitar either or make any major modifications. After tons of research I settled on a set of Seymour Duncan pickups.

Guitar has a Lil59 bridge, Vintage Rails middle, Cool Rails neck pickup. I had the 5 way switch
replaced with 3 individual toggle switches to control each pup.
The neck and bridge toggle is a 3 way switch that allows you to (1) turn
pu off (2) Single Coil Split, (3) Full Humbucking. The switch for the middle is just an on/off switch. Each switch is
independent so you can have any configuration. There is the master volume pot and a master tone pot that works
with any switch setting. The upper tone pot is not wired. Here are some of the configurations that are possible
with this setup:

- All 5 Stratocaster Single Coil tones by using the Vintage Rails, and the Little '59 and Cool Rails in Split Mode

- Full Little '59 - Full Little '59 bridge humbucker sound of a Les Paul®

- Split Little '59 with full Vintage Rails - rear notch position of a Strat. (Quack)

- Split Little '59 with full Cool Rails "warm but bright" Tele middle position country sound.

- Full Vintage Rails and full Cool Rails "big warm Strat" in the front notch position.

- Full Cool Rails "big Strat" and if the string is played at the neck, you get a nice warm P-90 sound

- All three pickups on at the same time

- Plus others, tons of experimentation!

WHAT's INCLUDED:
Stratocaster SERIAL NUMBER MNZ5204974. Owner's Manual, Registration Card,
Original Tags, Tools, Tremolo arm are INCLUDED. FENDER GIG BAG also included.

~~~~~~~~~~~
The guitar cost me $430 and the custom pickup assembly with Duncan pickups and professional installation
cost me over $270. $700 in total! Why experiment with your existing guitars, this one already has what
you need! This one is a tone monster!
Will ship to US ONLY.
Sorry! While the Parker is truly a nice guitar, I just probably wouldn't get to use it that much. I have too many and seem to use my 1 or 2 favorites only. That's the main reason I want to sell this one. -abriz
Sorry. Same thing as with the Parker trade offer. I just don't play my existing guitars enough! I'm trying to just keep my 1 or two favs. thanks. -abriz
