versatile neck pup - help

i need a neck pickup, one that could fit in a single-coil space, that could be used for clean jazz tones, but also good enough for a good lead rock/metal tone. im thinking cool rails, but can it get a good jazz tone? my guitar is alder, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. this is probably going to have to match with a c5 in the bridge.

the cool rails will match fine with the c5. as for a jazz tone, the cr can do jazz just fine. its not gonna sound like a bennedetto in a hollow body but it can get it done

yeah, i wasnt really expecting that out of the cool rails - just something that was similar to a jazz tone, seeing as im just a beginner. thanks jeremy
