beaubrummels Well-known member May 17, 2014 #2 Re: Very high impedance Welcome to the forum. A shorted coil will read high. That happened to me before. Had one read 129k. I thought I had my meter on the wrong setting. Edit: actually, more correctly, I think it's a broken coil?
