Does anyone know why they stopped making Silverbirds? Was it a production thing or just a lack of interest?

I remember these from the 80's(?) Zions built right here in NC. The guys who played them swore by these.

I don’t think it was ever a production pickup. I believe it was only made for a particular guitar, so the only way to get one was pull it from one of those guitars.

Actually, it WAS a production pickup for a brief time.

You could buy them at retail and they came in the classic pink boxes:

Yeah, I had seen a few in stores in those boxes.
