My Special 6 head arrived today and I'm very impressed with it. Actually kind of blown away by it. For comparison's sake I currently have a Fuchs Lucky 7 and had a Class 5 earlier this year. I think the Special 6 beats the Class 5 with its clearer low volume tone and the footswitchable boost function (FS included!) The OD tone is nice and meaty in this amp - very pleasing. (I'm using a Basson vertical slant 2x12 with 2 WGS Green Berets)
The Lucky 7 really does that Trainwreck guitar volume cleanup thing well and is very sensitive to picking technique - a really great amp that is a step above.
