Vibe pedal on a budget

I'm looking to get a vibe pedal integrated into my set up soon, my primary choices would be either a Lovepedal Pickle or the VL Micro Vibe. However, I'm broke, so I'm wondering if there is something I can pickup for $50 or less (used or new) so I can start working it into my band's repetoire. If there is nothing out there in that price range, I'll just have to start saving.

On that note, Lovepedal vs. Micro Vibe?

always worth saving. Getting the cheapo stuff ends up costing more in the long run, cos you end up flipping it for a loss anyway when you finally get the best tool for the job.

I sooooooooo want a TRex Viper (I know, not the vibiest vivebe)

I always look at the pickles.

I agree - MicroVibe for the cost conscious.

You know, I was going to suggest the Fulltone Deja Vibe, but they're much more expensive now than when I bought mine (used at least). Having said that, I definitely say go with the microvibe!

Re: Vibe pedal on a budget

I've had a fair amount of success with a variety of el cheapo pedals, they may not be the greatest, but they do the job well enough for me to gig with.

That being said, Micro Vibe it is. I may be able to swing it next month, I'm just anxious to get it worked into some of the new songs we are writing at the moment. I keep using Tremolo where I would use Vibe, and it works alright, but the songs will sound much better with a Vibe.

Re: Vibe pedal on a budget

The good thing about the Micro Vibe is that it's well made and is a real vibe (not a tweaked phaser) so you're getting real vibe tone and real good pedal quality...the only think you're not getting is the high price or a big vibe, the big footprint of a big vibe and the other features and ask any vibe user, those features almost never get used.

Look around and you'll see the Micro Vibe in a lot of pro rigs!

Micro vibe is budget? It costs 160 euros here...

I went for the Danelectro Cool Cat vibe. I love it. Simple, cute, cheap.
I've modded it so that the LED blinks in time with the vibe speed. Cheap and tacky. I love it.

I am using a Lovepedal Pickle Vibe. I did an AB of that with a Voodoo Mini Vibe, both of them are good. It is just that Pickle Vibe has a bit more lows. Some people hate that, but I actually think that its needed, the thumb of the univibe thing you know... Then again, in terms of construction I think Voodoo's is more historically accurate.
