Ah, it's only a couple of resistors and caps, and I have no volume control or other pots, so it's pretty simple. The guitar is always active when it's plugged in. (I have 2 guitars like that at the moment)
My tech measured a Fender tone control @ 9, and then used the same cap and a resistor to get the same measured resitance. He then did the same with a Gibson tone control. The switch works marvelously well; when I want more push, I use the Gibson -- more cut, I use the Fender.
Edit: they are totally different circuits, however; none of the components are shared.
