Video clips of my new rig & Duncan Custom Shop pups too

Hi,

I shot some great quality video of my wet/dry/wet Fuchs ODS rig. The Baker RF I am playing has a set of Duncan Custom Shop pups wound by Maricela. These pups are similar to Lovers, but a little hotter and potted. They use different wire as well. Warmer than the Lovers..... The vids are in a jazz/fusion/blues style btw.

The amp is a Fuchs ODS with 2 6L6 tubes. The amp was originally a 20 watt 6V6 amp. It can handle the 6L6 tubes but the small Deluxe Reverb style trannie really sags. It has switchable cathode bias as well. Philips 7581A power tubes and JJ ECC83S preamp tubes. Zaolla Silverline cable from guitar to amp.

The effect processor is a TC Gmajor in the Fuchs parallel loop. I output each side to a Tech 21 Powerengine powered slave cab. Big stereo

The cab is a THD 2X12 with 1 Celestion Lead 80 and 1 Weber alnico 1265

Please save the vids to conserve bandwidth. They don't stream. They are DIVX encoded. The codec is free and available here http://download.divx.com/divx/DivX511.exe The mac version is here http://download.divx.com/divx/mac/DivX511Installer.sit

Here is the video link. There are 6 vids. http://www.scottlernermusic.com/video/

The backings I am playing to are here www.scottlernermusic.com/backings

I shot these with a Sony TRV38 with external Sennheiser capsule mics and a battery module with level controls. I had to lower the levels to prevent digital overload. All you hear is room miced. No effects added.

Don't mind the occasional funny face! :32:

Scott you are Scott Henderson!!!!! (well almost)

Man I would love to play like that!!
I'm just learning this particular style myself - swingy lines with cromaticism, melodic minor modes and arpeggios from scott henderson vids :)
I also picked up a nice Scott Henderson chord guide not long ago where he presents a system for how to reuse certain chord shapes 5 times to get 5 different sounds from shape.

So much chromatics man very nice outside stuff your doing there. You mind if i cop some licks from ya?

Wow not that the playing isn't impressive but the quality of the video and audio is fantastic, great job.

Nice demo! You play like a pro Scott. I hear some interesting jazz influence in there with a nice blend of melodies and technique.

Supercool :)

I refuse to listen anyore. You are too good! Also, that's the best picture I have ever got on my computer. Crystal clear videos.

Re: Video clips of my new rig & Duncan Custom Shop pups too

Man, you can do the slow bluesy thing and just go off with some melodic shred-esque soloing. I envy you, man. Do you have a band? You probably do, huh? Heh, talent like that doesn't often go unnoticed :)
Even when you were really getting into it and moving around, your notes maintained clarity and intensity. Nothing phases you! Amazing....
