Video Of My New song

Re: Video Of My New song

Very skilled, but at the same time I don't like shredding. You have talent though. Your timming is off a little on some parts.... but other than that, nice job.

Re: Video Of My New song

Very nice. I agree with the tempo statement...

...are you open to constructive criticism? Well, I'm assuming you aren't a pu$$y so here it is...

I think you need to work on your vibrato, it seems a little forced and unnatural.

Again, sweet playing.

Re: Video Of My New song

i do agree about your vibrato. it seems a little fast for this piece.

i do like shredding and i really like your choice of licks and phrasing. the changes were nice too. it didnt get boring, it wasnt like you stayed in one scale the whole time. great job!

Practise playing vibrato at half speed with a metronome. Work it wide and slow, and keep it controlled. Just imagine Yngwie at 50% of the speed, or Friedman etc.. once you get it even then you can work at upping the tempo.

Control is what you're aiming for above all.

Practise things like hitting a note, letting it ring for a beat, then working in some vibrato, bending a note slowly to pitch then adding vibrato etc
