Now how come I couldn't get a Telecaster to sound like that last time I played one?? :laugh2:

Nice jam, and nice tone!

Well, it either my Engl Screamer combo, my Dg-Stom amp sim or the amp sim inside my Boss drum machine.

In this particulare case, I used the Screamer with a DD3 in the loop.

Actually, I wouldn't mind changing the Screamer with another amp simply to try some new sounds.

thanks

Dang! That was great... you've made me rethink what I always thought a tele was supposed to sound like.

Very nice indeed...

Oh and btw - it doesn't look yellow to me - but, oh well...

Re: VIDEO of my Yello Tele

Is there a better Tele color??? Fantastic tone!!! Some nice old school raunch.

Re: VIDEO of my Yello Tele

Marin, that was amazing! You really know how to lay down delicious chops.

Re: VIDEO of my Yello Tele

thanks guys....I should put some SD pickups in there...something warm.

What the best idea? I wouldn't mind a slightly pronounced midrange.

JD and APS?

Re: VIDEO of my Yello Tele

nice tone and chops, I couldnt really hear the bass notes out of the tele,
and what size frets you got on that thing they look huge ( I love huge frets)
I would say put a 5-2 neck and a JD bridge in that baby and listen to it sing.

I don't think anyone's ever seen a 5-2 here in Italy....:(

That was cool Marin..as always.

Is the Screamer alright now?

Oh yeah, its back to normal. One of the 6L6 was bust but still working, but it was adding a "fuzzy" effect.

I still want to sell the amp so I can try something else. I've had it for almost 5 years.

Kool,

to be honest I´m looking for a Engl Screamer at the moment. Wanted to buy one and get rid of the Marshall MG30...I´m going to take part on some competitions and I´ll get some money hopefully..perhaps you´ll pm me a price you´re looking for, cause I´m sure it´s in great shape but I´m just curious now..dunno if I win enough hehe.

Does the Engl like overdrive pedals? I wanted to buy a MI Audio Tube Zone and use it with a Screamer.

And a TC Major in the fx loop..that would be cool.
