New neck. Warmoth fat profile 1 piece rosewood. 1 7/8 at the nut. 6100 frets. New set of 12-54 strings. Slightly lower action. Polished out the intonation. Had to drill in a string tree :).

Used a compressor this time from my GT8 before going in the amp. That improved the volume level of quiet parts i think.

Felt more comfortable this time too.

There's a very quiet rhythm guitar in there as well.

i did a neck swap with my hollow body strat. This neck is definitely better for this guitar, because of single coils, and sustain.

These 12s feel nicer when action is a bit lower, and the board is thick and wide. lots of room to work.

Cool see you guys soon :)

I doubled up those open distorted string sweeps - for more effect.

Currently still using my Boss DS1 for OD. I probably could get a better OD sound.

NICE. I think this one came out better too. Real great playing bro.

You're always one of my top faves to watch, man. Just jaw-dropping, everything you touch. Wow!!!

One suggestion is to bump up the volume on the lead a little so it more closely matches that of the clean section.

P.S. Thanks for posting the rig info on the site, too. I always like reading that.

Re: video: TAKE TWO. Little Wing. Same guitar, different neck

I have heard quite a few artists attempt this tune and none of them have played it as well at that. Amazing.

Re: video: TAKE TWO. Little Wing. Same guitar, different neck

Nice playing. I prefer Jimis version over SRV's. I think the guitar sounds a tad bright, but it could be my speakers. What pickups are you using?

Re: video: TAKE TWO. Little Wing. Same guitar, different neck

Thanks ma. The pickups are SD Antiquity IIs. I might have EQd it too bright in Sonar, but i wanted it to have a good top end.
