It's not to far gone. It can be UNBOGURED! But I wouldn't pay to much
over $400 for it.
EDIT : Upon further reveiw... This is a P.O.S. !!

I have a 73' Strat that's lighter than any other guitar I have ever owned.

And technically it is vintage.....over 25 years old.

How do you break the headstock on a fender strat? Geez, I use mine for a hockey stick. Good gravy.

It happened to me when the entire weight of the guitar landed on the high e tuner when it fell off it's stand and over the edge of a 3-foot stage at a gig.

BTW it might have actually been tolerable had the pickguard not been freaking piss-yellow. GROSS.

Re: "vintage" 1979 stratocaster auction, must see

hmm... the pickguard looks pretty orange on my computer... wouldn't mind it on an orange strat personally. I do get ideas from the best places. copy the greats I say:D

as for the guitar... no, not for that price. maybe if someone gave me money for a refin:D

My Guess? When the tuners where installed. Dosen't look like the kinda
guy who would use a tappered reamer. More like a high tourque
Industrial strength drill, A dull drill bit and the B.S.I. method.
