Vintage Brand guitars?

Re: Vintage Brand guitars?

The Vintage brand is owned by UK retailer/distributor, John Hornby Skewes (JHS) Music. This line is a continuation of the instruments previously branded Encore (amongst others). They have always prided themselves on value for money. The product promotion is targeted squarely at young, beginner/intermediate, skint musicians. Think of them as a European market equivalent to Agile.

QC definitely improved after Trevor Wilkinson became involved. Some "name" endorsees have teamed up with Vintage over the years. Most of these are more likely to be known in the UK than North America.

FORUM TRIVIA - Left_Hand_Strat owns and plays a lightly modified Vintage V100 LP clone.

I have played their reliced Les Paul model and it felt good and sounded good. I would probably get one if the top was not a veneer, but for that price you probably cant get a LP type with a maple cap.
