Yeah dude, I'm pretty sure that PAT pickup is gonna sound pretty much just like a T-Top.

What is the DC Resistance of the Bill Lawrence? Does it have a bar magnet (or 2 small ones) or are the polepieces magnetic? I have a couple of these and wouldn't mind another if it specs out.

I think I know what you mean. Its unclear whether those PAT# pickups are what could be called strictly a "PAF".
I called Gibson, and they said it is basically an undifferentiated 490's or Burstbucker, or 57 Classic I think, before they named each of those pickups at a later date.
So you'll have to take into consideration the pickup reads at 7.25K, and go from there..
From Gibson; " It would be a big mistake to assume that all humbuckers sound alike.Truth is, there are a number of Gibson humbucking pickups available, and each one has its own distinctive personality".
