Vintage Marshall cabinet specs

I am currently planning to build a cabinet as close as possible to a vintage Marshall cabinet (I just ordered Greenbacks), and I was wondering if any of you know of a webpage where the exact measures, materials etc. etc. for such cabinets (type late 60s, early 70s) are presented?

Re: Vintage Marshall cabinet specs

Thanks a lot, that was exactly what I was looking for! Any idea what year this particular cabinet is from?

Any ideas on the cab specks Iommi used live during the Supergroup/AOR era's?

Re: Vintage Marshall cabinet specs

late '60s to early '70s "salt/pepper" cab, and frankly, the only Marshalll you want.

Should look like this when finished.

Some info here you might find useful as well.

Re: Vintage Marshall cabinet specs

This is all very helpful, thanks a lot! I am currently building myself a monster amp rig, and since the guys I believe have the best tone were 80s players using mostly 70s gear (George Lynch, Warren deMartini, Jake E. Lee, Vito Bratta on first two albums), I'm going to make a copy of a vintage Marshall cab with Greenbacks in it.

Re: Vintage Marshall cabinet specs

Well I am all about "do it yourself", but you know you can get custom cabs from Avatar, Mojo, etc with greenbacks for about the cost of four greenbacks alone.

Re: Vintage Marshall cabinet specs

Unfortunately my friend, it does not work that way in the Old World. I did get a great price on Greenbacks in a store in Köln (Cologne) though.
