Good Morning and Merry Christmas to all. I need help with a project. I have a 1950 fender dual pro 6 string lap steel ( body only no hardware). What is a replacement pickup? I have only pictures of the guitar and all of the pickups are covered, I have found verious parts on ebay, kinda putting it together piece by piece but its hard when you don't know exactly what you are missing or if the parts you bought are correct. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Then its just a little higher wound Broadcaster pickup like 8k with 42awg wire or 10k with 43 awg wire. There some winders who would be glad to make one for you.

Honestly, for such an old instrument, I'd try to get really close to a 1950s lap steel pickup, and the people who know about those things the best is the Custom Shop. Contact them and see what they recommend.
