would a vintage rail(bridge) work as a neck pickup? how much of a difference would their be between that and a neck model? i'm using it with a JB in the bridge . thanks scott
There is not a big output difference between the neck and bridge version on these pickups so I would say you should be OK using a bridge in the neck spot.
You may also want to consider a Cool Rail in the neck ...
